“ We were there the night before Valentine's Day to celebrate an anniversary. Very busy but somehow the host found a perfect booth for two at the back! We decided to go here and try it instead of a more typical Italian restaurant in Edmonds relocated from Seattle that we used to go to. So glad we did! Bucatini is not the Italian food we have eaten so many times around Italy but an Italian American style cuisine that would fit in well in New York etc. Our server was Angel and she was great! She was also the defacto bartender so busy but she took good care of us. We started with simple drinks and ordered garlic bread to start and a Ceasar salad for one to split. The garlic bread was awesome and embellished with generous Parmesan, parsley and real garlic and butter. Big order! The Caesar was large for a single and also well embellished including anchovy paste in the dressing. If you ask for garlic bread in Italy they look at you funny but this was better than my Italian mothers' growing up. After these we realized we were almost full....and we hadn't finished all the bread! But our mains were coming and we were excited to get them. She ordered the Bucatini Neapolitan with a lot of seafood and I got the Maelle Saltimboca . Servings were huge and really well done! Her seafood pasta was almost too loaded as was mine. The seafood done well and great pasta and my pork loins cooked tender with great sage flavor and packed with veggies and a fantastic creamy gravy over the pasta. We could only eat half and took it home for a second meal later. Dessert was tiramisu to go since we were full and she loved it at home later that night! This was the one thing that was like in Italy perhaps. The service took a little while for mains but we were kept busy with starters drinks and discussion so it worked out great! Price is a little steep but they didn't skimp on ingredients nor serving size! We will be back with friends and family again I'm sure! ”

“ One of the best Italian places I have been to. They don't take reservations and are busy but since we went on a Monday they were not that crowded. We ordered the meatball and pesto pasta. The host was wonderful explaining the specials going over drinks menu. Our food was delicious, the portion size was also large we were not able to finish our meals. The place is romantic, a bit dark but is pretty! Would definitely visit again. ”

“ What an absolute gem! Opened the door and stepped into an Italian restaurant in the West Village in Manhattan. Charming, friendly and smart staff, gorgeous bar areas and a great vibe. The food was the real star. We had 3 amazing pasta dinners (see pics) that were absolutely MASSIVE. I think the restaurant could serve smaller portions and still guests would leave with extras. We all left with at least half our dinners - a full meal for tonight, and I'm psyched for it. Will definitely come back here. Great food, terrific ambiance, and amazing value for money. Loved it! ”

“ Visited for dinner and tried their Garlic Bread, Aperol Spritz Cocktail, Pappardelle Alfredo w/ Chicken, Pinot Noir Wine, and Salmone Con Pesto! Everything was delicious and tasted so decadent! Very filling portions, as we could only get through half of our pastas! The pasta texture was perfectly soft with a bite to it, and the salmon & chicken were so flavorful! We found it a little funny that we'd accidentally be chewing on full garlic cloves, but other than that-- solid Italian restaurant! Interior was super cozy and intimate. Everyone was super sweet and we enjoyed our time in a lively and romantic-esque atmosphere! Highly recommend for special occasions, especially for dinner! ”

“ this place has good vibes and delicious food I can tell that they put love and joy into this amazing food masterpiece because that's what this extravagant restaurant has to serve food masterpieces if anyone go's to this restaurant give the utmost respect to your waiter and cook and everything on the menu is amazing. I would always recommend this restaurant for any event wether a candle lit dinner date or birthday they have the most delicious fudge like chocolate cake that will make your mouth water as soon as it comes to the table and when you finished with your meal you will be completely satisfied making you want to come back for dinner every day ”

“ Been to Bucatini several times and it's one of my favorite spots to go to. Also budget friendly with generous entree portions. If you are looking for an authentic, family owned Italian restaurant, this is your spot. It is always jammed pack for dinner during the weekends so expect wait times after 630pm if you have larger parties. Ambiance Dark, cozy and has that family owned Italian feel. The restaurant isn't that big, decent size. Service Staff were short staff tonight but they were attentive even though they were busy. No issues. Only had to wait 20 minutes to get a table. They offered us the dining table facing the kitchen. Food As you can see in the photos and videos, all of the food came out piping hot. All of the items we ordered, it came out with generous portions. Enough to eat dining in and for leftovers as well. The restaurant makes in house noodles for the entrees that serves pappardelle. We ordered the following items: Garlic bread - always a must to accompany with your pasta. We ordered one plate of the garlic bread and it was perfect for 3 people. We each got two slices per person. Chicken Parmesan with veggies and pasta - the chicken was lightly breaded, wasn't crispy but overall was good. The portion was the perfect amount of food for one serving. Pappardelle Alfredo plus chicken breast - added the chicken for an extra charge. The chicken breast was pan seared, wasn't dry - supple moist. The Alfredo sauce wasn't too heavy. Kids Alfredo with rigatoni - perfect size. Same view as above but in a smaller size. Seafood bucatini - highly recommend. Doesn't taste fishy. Gives you a variety of seafood: shrimp, mussels, clams, octopus, scallops. This is my second time ordering this entree and is always good. ”

“ This restaurant has all of the charm of a little family owned authentic Italian restaurant. Upon stepping in the door, the smell of garlic, bread baking, and simmering tomato sauce overwhelmed my senses in the very best way. The space is small but it is utilized in an incredibly efficient way. Picture little romantic tables for two in the corner with dim lighting and candles. There is nothing but love for the amazing ambience Bucatini has created for the senses. Our waiter, Mike, was absolutely lovely. He was genuinely friendly and was one of those people who make you feel like he is good soul, ya know? He was efficient and paced our meal perfectly. NOW, on to the food.. WOW, WOW, WOW. I had a hard time deciding but chose a meat bolognese pasta dish and holy YUM! The sauce was so delicious and the meat tender and flavorful. The serving size was reasonable for the price, which I felt was on the high end, but I had some left overs so I won't squabble too much about that. Everything costs so much these days. The place REALLY filled up the later it got in the evening so I would suggest getting there around 5-5:30 if you don't want to wait (there isnt a lobby so you would have to wait outside in the cold if the tables are all taken). Also, I saw 2-3 Italian Grinder sandwiches being brought out to other tables and I was absolutely drooling and mesmerized by the size and delicious look of them. Next time, I am in the area, I will definitely be working my way through the menu. Highly recommend for true, authentic italian food. You won't be disappointed. ”

“ Delicious food, and great service! I hadn't been here in a while and idk why it's taken me so long to come back! I forgot how good everything was. The pastas are large portions but don't make me feel heavy and gross. Lots of flavor! I'm always going home with leftovers which is great :) ”
